National Cancer Control Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Framework 2023-2027

The cancer monitoring and evaluation accountability and learning framework is the first such document developed for cancer control in Kenya. It is designed to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the planned outcomes of the National Cancer Control Strategy 2023-2027 by reviewing performance, using evidence for timely and strategic decision-making, and learning from experience, for results achievement. The regular monitoring of indicators will enable tracking progress towards identified results, and checking whether the initial model is valid or will need to be adapted during implementation to suit the changing circumstances.
