Updated Model Lists of Essential Medicines (EML) and Essential Medicines for Children (EMLc)

At the end of July, World Health Organization updated its Model Lists of Essential Medicines (EML) and Essential Medicines for Children (EMLc) adding two new cancer medicines: 1)  Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin for the treatment of Kaposi sarcoma and 2) Pegfilgrastim to stimulate the production of white blood cells and reduce the toxic effect of some cancer medicines on the bone marrow.
