World Cancer Research Fund International (WCRFI) has developed policy indexes that assess nutrition and physical activity policies in 30 European countries. The policy indexes were developed as part of an EU funded CO-CREATE project on adolescent obesity.
The policy indexes highlight where more action is needed in nutrition and physical activity policy across Europe. Recommendations to policy-makers are provided in two policy briefs.
- NOURISHING policy index: Nutrition policy status in 30 European countries
- MOVING policy index: Physical activity policy in 30 European countries
In addition to the policy indexes, WCRFI has developed country snapshots which give detailed insights into the status of nutrition and physical activity policy in each of the 30 European countries.
The briefs are available in English, German, French and Spanish. The country snapshots have been translated into each country’s language.
