CANCER PREVENTION 4 AFRICA - FRENCH
Description of the campaign:
The Cancer Prevention 4 Africa Campaign is a call to action to the international community to work together to save lives and stop the 'runaway train' cancer epidemic heading for Africa. In support of the UICC-led World Cancer Day on 4 February 2011, the Africa Oxford Cancer Foundation (AfrOx) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) have launched a joint 'Cancer Prevention 4 Africa Campaign' to raise global awareness about the problem of cancer in Africa and improve people's understanding about the early signs of cancer and how simple lifestyle changes can greatly reduce the likelihood of developing many cancers.
More information:

his series of cancer prevention and awareness posters have been designed for use in Africa by AfrOx and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Developing Countries Task Force. The posters were first piloted in Ghana, and have been designed with support from the Cancer Society of Ghana, clinicians, and nurses in Ghana. The goal was to develop a template for low-cost cancer awareness and prevention programmes that can be replicated in other developing countries.
